About This Website
This website has been created by me using Rapidweaver Classic version 9. Rapidweaver is published by Realmac Software, a software publisher based in Brighton here in the UK. I have also used the Stacks version 4 add-on to provide additional functionality. Stacks is published by YourHead software.
By combining the Stacks add-on to Rapidweaver I have a fantastic tool that has greatly simplified the creation of this website. If you own an Apple computer, or have access to one, I would recommend that you consider Rapidweaver & Stacks if you want to produce your own website.
The site is hosted by Webmate, an established and award-winning Internet company with an office in Bodmin, Cornwall. From personal experience I can say that the post sales support provided by Webmate really is second to none.
I have also purchased the stack collection from Doobox software who describe themselves as premium Mac software & RapidWeaver stack developers. Their All Stacks Mega Deal is fantastic value for money and provides 47 very good quality stacks that normally cost £469.53 for just £89.00. Bargain.
Even better is that they throw in a free copy of their rather clever Folders app. So far I have used Button Press 2, FAQ 2, Stats, Love It, Defender and Rate It on the site.
If you are thinking about using Rapidweaver, or have started to use it and would like some tuition then I can thoroughly recommend a course available on the Udemy site. Hamish Erskine, an avid fan of Rapidweaver, has created an excellent course that is based on version 7 but is still very relevant to newer versions.
It has a lot of good advice and is well worth taking a look. The course is free and if you follow all the lessons you will have an excellent grounding in building websites with Rapidweaver.
You should also check out his separate Rapidweaver site as it is full of information and advice about Rapidweaver and the Stacks that help to make it such a great way to build a website.

The power of a web-site comes from the people using it, not the people making it
